| Bass River Bridge looking towards Yarmouth, MA. |
Although it's February, the white on the bridge is NOT ice- it hasn't been cold enough for here yet! (today it's hovering a little below 50 when it should be around 20 degrees) And for those of you who are not familiar with our landscape, that is NOT a real lighthouse. It is attached to an inn. But hey, it looks nice in this photo!
This is where I was taking the photo from. Right across the bridge is the Cultural Center- a place that has lots of activities for artists and performers all year long, even Salsa dancing! I went there last Friday eve for the Community Connections art show opening. I was invited by Beth (I take care of her) and her mom.
Here she is in front of some work she did. They painted little skulls (I wonder where they got those?!) and made all kinds of collages etc.. What a fun job that art director has! I wish I was doing that when I worked there.
The Cultural Center was packed because they do several show openings at the same time. I even ran into my sister, Odin! She's also an artist and was there for another show.
